Free Bike Tours: Saturday, September 10 & Sunday 11, 2011
Join Canada South Eco Tours on a biking exploration of Boblo Island in Amherstberg, Ontario. This 15 – 20km adventure tourism bike tour will highlight the historic landmarks on and around Boblo Island. This is a great local expedition for the family, if you are returning to the island after experiencing it as a kid, or if you are exploring it for the first time. This is a FREE TOUR presented in partnership with Transportation Options as part of the Celebrate Cycling event at the Shores of Erie Wine Festival. The tour is approximately 2 hours in length, and includes ferry transportation both to and from Boblo Island. The tour will begin and return to The Shores of Erie International Wine Festival in closing. We look forward to touring with you.

Island Biking and Astronomy Series 2011
Pelee Island, Essex County
Canada South Eco Tours and Explore Pelee, Pelee Island’s eco-tourism company, are hosting the second Annual Island Biking Astronomy Tour Series on Pelee Island, Ontario. This 2 day, 1 night event, on Lake Erie’s largest secluded island, includes an adventure tourism bike ride, observation of constellations with Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, local catered meals, ferry transportation, camping fees, and an evening campfire with local entertainment. Sunday morning there is an optional Bird Walk with the Pelee Island Bird Observatory (PIBO). The weekend tour dates are as follows, May 21-22, July 2-3, July 30-31 and August 13-14. Registration deadlines are one month prior to each event date.
